Another very successful author agreed to answer in few questions for his Greek fans! I am truly honored and extremely happy!

He is from Brazil but when he graduated he moved to USA. Now he is a famous writer(although he does not agree with my term) and musician. Chris Carter joined us today!!!!

He studied psychology with a specialization in criminal behavior at the University of Michigan. As a member of the Michigan State Attorney's Office of Criminal Psychology, he interviewed many criminals, including serial killers of multiple murders sentenced to life in prison, and had the opportunity to study them. In the early 1990s, Chris Carter moved to Los Angeles, where he spent a decade as a guitarist for numerous glamor rock bands, before retiring from the music profession to write exclusively. Today he lives in London.

If you were not so famous, how would you introduce yourself? Who are you?

I’m not famous, to be honest.  I’m just a guy who writes crazy stories and has been lucky enough that others like to read those crazy stories.  For that I’m eternally grateful.

What’s your motivation in life?

Unfortunately I don’t have one anymore.  My partner was my motivation, my inspiration, my guiding light, my reason to do anything.  All of that disappeared the day she passed.

Success has no secrets. Hard work, consternation, persistence.  What is your version of success? What did you do to achieve your goals?

Do something you love.  For me, success isn’t measured by your bank account, it’s measure by how happy you feel with what you do.

Has been there a time when your «bad» self tried to prevent an important step and how did you deal with it?

Haha.  No.  My “bad” self is the reason why I am where I am.  My “good” self makes more mistakes than my “bad” one.

What is your personal motto of life?

Listen more than talk, and if possible, always be kind.

If you had one advise to give to your younger self, what would that be?

Don’t ever fall in love – it will break you beyond repair.

Tell us something optimistic that helps you face the difficulties of your life,that might be helpful to someone else too.

Unfortunately, at the moment, I am not the right person to give you an answer to this question.  I’m fighting a battle that I am clearly losing.  I have no optimism left.  That also left me on the day I lost my partner.
